Here is some info for you before your trip:

This is a full service licensed and insured fishing charter. If you haven’t done so already there is a $100 deposit per vessel to reserve your trip date. The deposit will be counted towards your trip total that will be paid after the fishing trip is complete when we get back to the dock. We accept all forms of payment such as cash, credit card, check, Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, Zelle, and so on. To your convenience everything is the flat rate with no hidden credit card fees, taxes, or service charges. The deposit is fully refundable up to 7 days before your reservation for any reason. Please just notify me as soon as possible. If you have a gift certificate there is no deposit necessary, the trip has already been paid for. If you booked through a 3rd party booking site, such as FishingBooker you already paid the deposit (their commission). Please refer to our Cancelation Policy

We provide everything you need for the day. There are only a few things you need to bring. Dress appropriately for the weather. This is an outdoor activity, and we do fish in the elements as long as there is no safety risk deemed by the captain.  Bring plenty of layers for the cold winter days, rain gear if there is light rain in the forecast, and light breathable clothes, sunglasses, and sunscreen for the hot summer days. (Please no aerosol sunscreen applied onboard) I will confirm the pickup location and weather a couple days prior to your trip. Depending on the season it’s possible the pickup location will be determined at that time as well due to these fish being very nomadic. The pickup location will be closest to the area you are coming from and the fishing grounds. Your trip pickup time is the time the trip starts. Please give yourself some extra time to park and use the restrooms if needed before hand. We do not add extra time to trips for late arrivals due to double trips and/or potential boat traffic.

Everyone 16 years old or older is required by the state of Georgia to provide their own freshwater fishing license. Georgia does not offer umbrella freshwater charter licenses for us like some states unfortunately. Kids 15 years old and younger are not required to have one. Note, licenses are all digital now it is not necessary to print, and I do not check for them. Here is the link to purchase your license, they are only $15/year for residents and a non-resident 1 day pass is $10: https://gooutdoorsgeorgia.com

Kids 12 years and younger are required to wear a USCG approved life jacket which I provide. I have comfortable life jackets for all ages but you’re more than welcome to bring your own if you like. Please notify me prior to you trip if you do have and kids under 13 years old along with their ages for proper lifejackets.

I have 2 coolers with ice and plenty of bottled waters for everyone. Feel free to bring any other drinks or snacks you will like for the day. You may stow food/drinks in my coolers, or you may bring your own. If you have a large party, I suggest keeping the cooler size to a minimum due to it taking up more space on the boat.

We strongly encourage catch and release, but you may keep some of your catch in accordance with our state harvest regulations. If you decide to keep your catch, remember to bring a cooler large enough with some ice to take them home in. The cooler can just stay in your vehicle and transferred after the trip. Please note if you do, there are no fish clean stations at Lake Lanier and carcasses cannot be discarded at the lake, therefore we cannot clean any of your harvest. Your catch has to be cleaned on your own terms at home or a different location. For the Spring and Fall Crappie Fishing trips ONLY, we bring a fillet station.

If you have any questions, comments, special needs, or requests please feel free to text or call me anytime!

Tight Lines,
