July 1, 2020 Fishing Report

Writer: Capt. Andrew HammondCapt. Andrew Hammond

Updated: Jul 6, 2020

We have officially left our typical spring haunts from the very north end to the lake and are now back on the southend from Browns Bridge to the Dam. Striper fishing has been good. The typical pattern has been downline herring 30'-60' over 30'-80' of water. We have not started trolling the leadcore yet but it's very soon. Power reeling magnum spoons, herring, and Capt. Macks Super jigs tipped with herring has been very productive. I

n the mornings we have been focusing on creek and main lake pockets, ditched, drains, and points. I still have some open dates in July, let's go catch em'!
